Victoria Ekanoye's mother "cried and screamed" when she landed her role in 'Coronation Street'. The soap newcomer bagged the role of bolshie Angie Appleton - the wife of Mary Taylor's long-lost son Jude - in the show earlier this year and her mum couldn't wait to watch her debut scenes, which aired last week, because was ecstatic when she found out she was joining the long-running programme.
